Dr. Stephen R. Ho’s Restorative Dentistry

Imagine yourself with a beautiful new smile!

Your teeth can tell a lot about your age and lifestyle—but why should they? Keep your smile fresh and beautiful, regardless of age, decay, or past injuries. Dr. Ho can restore tooth damage and keep your teeth healthy and strong for many wonderful years to come.

Full-Mouth Restoration

Rejuvenate your smile; tooth by tooth.

As well as damaging the appearance of a beautiful smile, over time, tooth decay and old, worn out fillings can take a toll on your bite and jaw alignment. No matter how much restoration you need, Dr. Ho can give you back your youthful smile, usually in two to four visits!

First, Dr. Ho will:

  • Remove all of the decay and filling from your teeth.
  • Make an impression of each tooth (from which your permanent restorations will be molded).
  • Place temporary restorations which you will wear until your next visit.

Next, Dr. Ho will:

  • Place your permanent restorations
  • Ensure proper fit and bite alignment
  • Congratulate you on your beautiful new smile!

Porcelain Crowns

A beautiful and long-lasting way to restore teeth

Porcelain crowns are the most esthetic way to replace a tooth surface when the root system is still intact. Porcelain crowns are durable, long-lasting, and are custom made to match the natural appearance of your existing teeth. The porcelain material looks very much like a natural tooth surface.

Dental Implants

Permanently replace missing teeth

Dental implants are a permanent solution to replacing missing teeth. Dentures and partials are not only uncomfortable and in need of constant maintenance, they also allow for the depletion of jaw bone over time. Implants are a great alternative for replacing a single tooth, a few teeth, or an entire set.

Dental implants are individual prosthetic teeth which are attached to individual screws rooted in your jaw bone. Because they are rooted directly into your bone, they are extremely stable, and promote a healthy jaw. They do not allow neighboring or opposing teeth to shift, and they do not promote bone deterioration with age. They look like real teeth, are resistant to wear and stains, and you care for them just as you would your natural teeth.

Soft-Tissue Grafting

You don’t have to endure the pain and embarrassment of receding gums!

Soft-tissue grafting can repair injured or receding gums. Gum disease, aggressive brushing, and aging can result in a receding gum line. The exposed tooth roots can be unsightly and painful. Soft-tissue grafting is a simple procedure where gum tissue is taken from the roof of your mouth, or a donor, and grafted onto your gum line. The effected areas heal quickly, and the repairs usually last a lifetime. This procedure is not very painful, and any discomfort caused can usually be treated with over-the-counter medication.

Dr. Stephen Ho uses the latest technology and sedation dentistry for your safety and comfort. He offers both oral sedation (pill) and nitrous oxide sedation.
