Thank you for choosing our dental office for your oral healthcare needs. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and deliver unsurpassed care and exceptional dentistry. For your convenience, we’ve supplied information about what you can expect at your first visit and made our forms available online. You can also review payment and insurance information. Your First Visit
Expect your initial exam and cleaning to take about an hour and a half. When you arrive, we’ll review your new patient paperwork and discuss your current concerns. You’ll meet Dr. Ho and receive a thorough dental examination, including digital X-rays. The dentist will:
- Check your teeth for cavities
- Evaluate the integrity of existing dental work
- Examine your gums
- Check your bite alignment
- Perform an oral cancer screening
A dental cleaning by one of our hygienists will follow. During dental exams, we use an intraoral camera for detailed views inside the mouth. Dr. Ho will display the images on a chairside monitor to explain his findings during your follow-up treatment planning consultation.

Payment & Insurance Information
Payment Methods
You may pay for your dental work with cash, check, or credit card. We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Financing is available through Ahoy State Federal Credit Union, and we offer payment plans, as well. For more information, contact a friendly member of our front office staff.
Dental Insurance
Our Honolulu dental office accepts Delta Dental insurance. We require payment for services when rendered, then electronically file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. If you have questions about your benefits and coverage amounts, contact our Honolulu office. Please have your policy handy when you call.
Be aware that dental insurance typically does not cover cosmetic dentistry treatments. Dr. Ho strives to provide what he considers the best and most lasting treatments to preserve and improve smiles. The doctor has devoted his career to caring for patients and is committed to keeping smiles beautiful and healthy. Unfortunately, many insurance companies are interested in the cheapest alternative available and often refuse to pay for the treatments that you and Dr. Ho deem best for your needs.
